The chapel was inspired by the Aurora Ice Museum at Chena Hot Springs Resort. The couple approached Dick Brickley and Ice Alaska about building the chapel. The 16-foot by 12-foot chapel was on the corner of First Avenue and Cushman Street in front of the Marriott SpringHill Suites.
