73 Years Later
An American woman has strolled down the aisle in her wedding dress for a second time – 73 years since she first wore the gown. Agnes Anderson wore the dress in 1938 when she married her college sweetheart Delmar Anderson in Youngstown, Ohio. Their marriage lasted more than 50 years until Mr Anderson’s death in 1989. Her second trip down the aisle came at a vintage bridal gown fashion show at a church in Muskegon, Michigan. The 98-year-old said the dress was in mint condition when she retrieved it from a storage box. Dick Anderson escorted his mother into the church sanctuary and to the altar.
