A two or three year old buck isn’t going to have a rack like the big boy on the right. It represents an older mature animal and the little boy on the right is a yearling. We used to call them spike bucks.

Mary – you are ENTIRELY wrong. While it is possible for does to have antlers due to a genetic mutation, less than 1% of does ever have antlers. Do you know what you’re talking about?

Thu, 09 Jun 2011 21:25:39 +0000http://weddingunveils.com/?p=11702#comment-14102I’ve seen many a doe, as my husband was an avid hunter and I grew up in a home of hunters…Never have I seen a doe with antlers! I have heard of the rare occurance of such things, but it dose not happen regularly or I would think after 38 years I would have seen at least ONE.

Mon, 30 May 2011 06:17:57 +0000http://weddingunveils.com/?p=11702#comment-12802They are not horns on the deer, they are antlers. What’s the difference? Anthlers are shed every year and re-grown. Horns just continue to grow. As for the same sex wedding; both deer are male. What is disturbing is one deer represents a full grown adult male, the other a young one just past puberty.
