A two or three year old buck isn’t going to have a rack like the big boy on the right. It represents an older mature animal and the little boy on the right is a yearling. We used to call them spike bucks.

What’s the difference? Anthlers are shed every year and re-grown. Horns just continue to grow. As for the same sex wedding; both deer are male. What is disturbing is one deer represents a full grown adult male, the other a young one just past puberty.
