Wire, if you are going to name call at least learn how to spell. It makes you look like a douche bag.

Secondly, I see one fat chick (the bride), one pregnant woman and 3 thin women. I’m not sure how anyone can call the three on the right fat at all as they are very thin.

Those dresses are hideous and look terrible on all of them – especially the pregnant woman on the left. There is nothing flattering about that dress style – fabric, style and fit.

The bride looks horrible. Corn rows, obnoxious color, ill fitting bridal dress for a bigger woman. I wish there was a picture of her standing up so we could see the total look.

I like the dresses… or rather the design of the dresses. The fabric sucks, and they don’t suit the people wearing them.

I agree that big women should not wear too-tight clothing but I disagree with the sleeveless and baggy clothing.

If you’re fat and you wear baggy clothing, you just look that much fatter. Wear clothes that FIT. Maybe a little on the bigger side so that you can be comfortable, but never should you wear anything baggy (unless in the privacy of your own home).

The sleeveless thing is stupid. I mean honestly, arms (big OR small) don’t look good whether they are covered or not. You can still see the size and shape of the arms. I used to be a person who only wore tank tops/sleeveless things while at home because I hated the idea of people seeing my arms. And then I realized that it’s more comfortable, and that people were weeing them whether I covered them up or not.

Unless you have shirts with sleeves that hang down to your knees you’re not hiding anything.

Ugh. This would have been a very nice looking wedding party if not for the brides love of all things tacky! To each their own, I always say, but sheesh! The colors are like something out of a Lisa Frank nightmare!! I personally have not worn pink and purple together since I was 10, and that was in 1990 LOL.

kniget, You’d be surprised at how many girls show up in the same prom dress. At least in my area. lol

I wore a strapless dress to my prom and I’m not exactly petite. But I had it resized so that it would properly fit me (and it was taken in, not let out FYI), and I hid some safety pins between the dress and my bra to keep it up the whole night. Oh, and it was a darkish blue color with beads, not bright. But still, just because we’re big doesn’t mean we can’t wear pretty clothes. Maybe they didn’t have anymore dresses in the next size up for these women, or maybe they were too baggy. It’s not that bad, I’ve seen 10 time worse, including 200+ pound girls wearing belly-bearing shirts.

I have to agree that the cut and fabric of those bridesmaid dresses is not flattering for a MAJORITY of body types. That and the color combination is just ugly. Also, strapless dresses are not kind to women with large breasts. There is no way you can have an adequately supportive bra without straps when you are that busty. You’re going to spend your whole time pulling the dress back up where it belongs. I hope the bride and groom enjoyed their wedding and got what they want for it, but it’s certainly not my taste. (And I somehow question if the groom really wanted those color combinations – they look like a Disney princess theme threw up.)

I have to agree with Bird. We went to a wedding where the bride had a build very similar to this young lady and also wore a sstrapless dress. She spent the entire day hauling her dress up. I’m sure she wasn’t comfortable. And just for what it’s worth – the only person who gets the full benefit of a strapless dress is the minister – and generally speaking, he or she isn’t all that interested.
