And no, I’m not a big person, I’m 5’9″ and weigh 126 pounds. Some people actually have legitimate health reasons as to why they weigh so much, and for some of these people, nothing less than weight loss surgery they can’t afford will fix it. The hate is downright necessary. Fat people are the big reason healthcare costs so much in this country. If you could see the data your mind would boggle at how much less medication is needed and other problems can be avoided simply by maintaining a healthy weight. For example: 9 out of 10 cases of diabetes are completely avoidable simply by laying off the sugar and taking 20 minutes to educate yourself on healthier food choices. Hell most of the fat women I see could lose 50 pounds in a few years just by not chugging polar pops every chance they get.
