I love that show. It’s so over the top but it’s fun to watch! Oh, and btw laprns….I didn’t buy my bridesmaids their dresses either. Alot of brides now a days don’t unless they have an assload of money. So I don’t see how that is even relevant to the picture.

It’s from the UK show “My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding” that now is shown in the US on TLC. the dresses are big and that’s the way they like them, they’re so heavy they leave cuts and scars on the brides “the more blood a dress draws the better the dress” one Irish Traveler bride said. btw they also get married young (25 I believe is considered old to get married) which is why they all look rather young

No, the wedding was NOT In L.A. It wasn’t even in the US… this is another shot from the documentary showing in Europe at the moment called My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding.

This is from the UK series “My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding” – this is the normal kind of attire. The Romany gypsies in the UK, however, would like to make sure people realise these are Irish Travelers – mostly living in England. How do they afford the dress? Big question everyone would like answered!

Some of those “bridesmaids” – particularly the two on the right and the one on the left – seem to be children. If so, strapless gowns are totallt inappropriate. And I agree with Psych – they look dreadfully expensive, and not a style you can fiddle with to wear again.

the dresses are pretty….but the head pieces are ugly. and the wedding dress is a bit much, but i suppose it goes with the over the top brides maid dresses.
